1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the MovePlay (com.moveplay.app) application, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use or install the application.

2. App Description

MovePlay is an Android media player and video/music streaming application providing access to:

  • Offline Audio Player (Local music playback)
  • Offline Video Player (Local video playback)
  • YouTube Embedded Player API Services
  • 400+ Live FM & AM Radio Channels
  • Local Playlist Management & Queue Controls
  • Pro 5-Band Audio Equalizer & Bass Boost FX

3. Eligibility (18+)

This application is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. By using the application, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. No Registration Required

MovePlay does not require user registration or account creation. All user preferences, favorited tracks, and custom playlists are stored locally on the user's physical device.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

When using MovePlay, users must not:

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code or modify the APK binary.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access app services or overload servers.
  • Abuse the service or attempt security bypasses.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful scripts.
  • Misuse content reporting or feedback mechanisms by filing false flags.

6. YouTube API Services & Compliance

The application uses the official YouTube Embedded Player API for video and music playback.

"The application uses the official YouTube Embedded Player API for content playback. Users may not download, extract, record, convert, or redistribute YouTube content through the application."

  • No downloading or stream ripping.
  • No MP3 conversion or audio extraction.
  • No offline caching or redistribution of YouTube streams.
  • No copyright infringement.

7. Intellectual Property

The app name (MovePlay, Package Name: com.moveplay.app), logo, UI design, source code, graphics, and custom equalizer integrations are the exclusive intellectual property of MovePlay. Third-party trademarks, logos, and video contents belong to their respective copyright owners.

8. Third-Party Services

Our app integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Google Play Services
  • YouTube Embedded Player API
  • Google AdMob (if enabled)
  • Firebase Crashlytics (if enabled)

These third-party services operate under their own independent Terms of Service and Privacy Policies.

9. Permissions Explanation

The app requests system permissions exclusively to deliver core streaming and radio playback services:

  • INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Online music queues, live radio, and YouTube video player streaming.
  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Lockscreen and notification drawer playback controls for Live Radio.
  • WAKE_LOCK: Prevents CPU sleep while playing Live Radio streams when screen is turned off.
  • MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS: Equalizer, volume controls, and audio effects.
  • FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK: Continuous Live Radio streaming on Android 14+. Not used for YouTube content.
  • com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID & Privacy Sandbox (ACCESS_ADSERVICES_*): Google Mobile Ads ad serving and attribution.

Note: MovePlay does not request or use READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE or READ_MEDIA_AUDIO permissions.

10. Disclaimer of Service Availability

Media availability depends on third-party API providers and public stream broadcasters. We do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted availability of third-party streaming content or live radio channels.

11. Limitation of Liability

The application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for network interruptions, third-party content removal, device hardware incompatibilities, or data loss caused by clearing app storage.

12. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to modify the application features or these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate app access for users who violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse content reporting tools.

14. Governing Law (India)

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
