Users do not need to create accounts, provide passwords, or log in to use the music player, equalizer, live radio, or playlist creation features. All user data (such as saved playlists and preferences) remains strictly on your local device.

To maintain high performance as a media & radio player without requesting unnecessary access, our app requests only essential Android permissions declared in our application manifest:

Playback Policy Notice:
Background playback applies only to local audio and live radio. YouTube videos are played only through the visible official YouTube embedded player. Background and screen-off playback are strictly disabled for YouTube content in full compliance with YouTube Developer Policies and API Terms of Service.

9. Foreground Service Declaration (Android 14+)
Declared permission: FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK.
Purpose & Scope: "This foreground media service is used exclusively for uninterrupted Live Radio stream playback and hosting notification media controls. In strict adherence to Google Play and YouTube developer guidelines, this service is NEVER used for YouTube audiovisual content. When a user switches to YouTube, any background audio service is halted, and YouTube playback ceases whenever the screen turns off or the app is dismissed."
10. YouTube API Terms of Service Compliance
MovePlay uses the official YouTube IFrame Player API to provide access to YouTube video content. In full compliance with YouTube Developer Policies and API Terms of Service:
- Foreground Playback Only: YouTube videos are played strictly in the visible embedded player. Background audio playback and screen-off playback of YouTube content are strictly disabled. When the device screen turns off or the app is minimized (outside Picture-in-Picture), playback pauses immediately.
- No Audio-Only Stream Extraction: MovePlay does not separate or extract the audio track from YouTube audiovisual content.
- No Media Download or Conversion: The app does not download, cache offline, rip, convert to MP3, or store YouTube video or audio content.
- No Background Recording: MovePlay does not record, alter, or manipulate YouTube content.
- Ad & Player Integrity: The app does not block, hide, or overlay ads served by YouTube and retains official player branding and controls.
11. Data Security
We enforce HTTPS (TLS) encryption for all network streaming requests. All local app database files are sandboxed within Android's protected application storage directory.
12. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share users' personal information with third parties except where required for app functionality or legal compliance.
13. Data Retention & Data Deletion
Since most app data is stored locally on the user's device, uninstalling the app or clearing local app storage removes all locally stored data.
14. Changes to Privacy Policy
